[All features] New website for volunteers Source: http://volmongol.org Dear BioWebbers, Over the past year I have been developing a new website for volunteers and Mongolian non-profits. volmongol.org is a free website dedicated to helping Mongolian organisations connect directly with foreign volunteers. It is aimed particularly at small, locally-run organisations which could benefit from the time or expertise of volunteers, but may lack the connections to find the people they need. From the volunteers’ perspective, this is a way for independent travellers to find volunteering opportunities without having to go through a third party or pay fees beyond their own living and travelling expenses. volmongol.org is fully available in English and Mongolian, with German to follow shortly. I am now seeking Mongolian organisations (or small-medium organsiations working in Mongolia) to advertise volunteer opportunities. If you work with or know of any organisation that you think this might apply to, please visit the site and pass this information on. The more organisations are represented, the more traffic the site will get. There are NO FEES associated with using the site, which is run on an entirely voluntary basis by me and my Mongolian colleague.
